The Nettuno was Gilera's 250 cc pushrod single, a lighter sibling to the 500 Saturno, introduced in the immediate postwar years. It used a cradle frame with parallelogram front forks and a swingarm rear end with horizontal springs, and later received a sporting alloy-head version.
